Video
Video in the gallery, privately
A sample clip showing how video lands in the showcase — nothing loads until you press play, so opening the page makes no third-party request.

This item exists to demonstrate how video works in the showcase — and to show that "rich media" and "privacy" aren't a trade-off.
The player is a click-to-load facade: until you press play, no video and no third-party script is requested at all, so simply opening a page costs you nothing and tells no one. YouTube and Vimeo embeds use the same pattern (and YouTube's no-cookie host); local files, like this Blender Foundation sample, stream with native controls and involve no third party whatsoever.
As lessons gain walkthroughs and short explainers, this is where they'll live — alongside the live demos and code, not in place of them.
